When my sister in law got engaged I immediately started dreaming of the engagement session! Ashby, her future husband, grew up vacationing to a quaint, little beach town called St. Simons Island. Just hearing him talk about the island and how enjoyable and relaxing it was made me instantly want to go! I was so excited to hear that St. Simons is where they decided to do their portraits! I was so excited to travel there and document it all for them! We instantly got to talking and nailing down the various locations we wanted to hit! I wanted to do it all – with Jekyll Island and Driftwood Beach being at the top my list! Upon arriving I was instantly in shock with its romantic scenery, gigantic oaks filled with light, and the dreamy marshland. I felt I was in a Nicholas Sparks novel and I did not want it to end!
